Business-Unit Financial Analyst: The Amazon Finance Rotation Program (AFRP) – Business Unit-Financial Analyst role is a two-year rotational program that starts aspiring leaders within the Finance and Global Business Services (FGBS) organization. The AFRP has consists of (2) yearlong rotations across different business units. Participants will develop technical skills while partnering with their business teams to drive process improvements, new business growth, and/or cost out opportunities. At the end of 2 the two years, participants will be positioned to take on higher responsibility with a broad scope of roles available. Responsibilities include preparation and reporting of financial performance for weekly, monthly, and annual reviews, producing meaningful operational metrics to help drive performance and achieve business objectives, and applying financial acumen and technical understanding to provide insights on growth, profitability, capital investment, and cash flow. Successful candidates will bring diverse perspectives and varied experiences (whether from school, life, or past jobs).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Are 18 years of age or older
– Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in finance, economics, business administration and management, or related field with a graduation conferral date between December 2024 and June 2025, or within the past 24 months.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Intermediate (e.g., vlookup)/advanced Excel skills (e.g., Write/edit VBA).
– Work, internship, or other leadership experience in a professional environment.
– Strong academic, leadership, and/or extracurricular record.
– Understanding of business fundamentals and accounting concepts.
– Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication with a keen focus on delivering business results.
– Demonstrated track record in using data and metrics to make decisions and build scalable solutions.
– Ability to influence across all levels of an organization.
– Ability to act strategically and make decisions under ambiguity.
– Strong organizational and time management skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $51,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $109,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
