Key Responsibilities
Policy Development & Compliance
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes and procedures.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage recruitment efforts, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating offer letters and onboarding processes.
- Collaborate with managers and department heads to identify staffing needs and develop strategies for attracting and retaining top talent.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Employee Retention & Engagement
- Develop and implement employee retention programs to promote job satisfaction and reduce turnover.
- Create initiatives that enhance employee engagement, such as wellness programs, recognition events, and professional development opportunities.
- Conduct regular employee feedback surveys and use the insights to make actionable improvements.
Scheduling & Staffing
- Schedule employees for assignments and ensure full coverage at all times.
- Monitor scheduling to minimize overtime and maintain appropriate staff-to-patient ratios.
- Address last-minute staffing challenges in collaboration with supervisors.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Mediate conflicts and support resolution to foster a healthy workplace culture.
Training & Development
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for employees on various HR-related topics.
- Support performance management processes, including goal-setting, evaluations, and employee development plans.
- Develop employee recognition programs to boost morale and retain top performers.
Benefits Administration
- Manage employee benefits programs and assist with open enrollment processes.
- Track and manage leave requests, including FMLA and other applicable programs.
- Address employee questions and concerns regarding benefits and payroll.
Record-Keeping & Confidentiality
- Maintain employee records and ensure accurate and up-to-date information in HRIS systems.
- Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist in audits and compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to all regulations and standards.
Collaboration & Leadership Support
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and support organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives.
- Provide support to HR leadership as needed.
Organizational Representation
- Act as a brand ambassador for the agency, promoting its culture and values.
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions and decisions.
