Girl Scouts of Utah is hiring a Food Services Lead to oversee daily kitchen operations at our summer camps. This is a great opportunity for students or early-career professionals with kitchen, food service, or leadership experience who want to gain hands-on management experience in a fun, outdoor setting.
Camp Dates:
- Camp Cloud Rim: June 11 – August 7
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily operations of a high-volume camp kitchen
- Supervise and support kitchen staff
- Prepare and serve meals following approved menus (NSLP/SBP standards)
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance
- Manage inventory, basic reporting, and kitchen organization
- Support overall camp operations as part of the leadership team

Compensation & Perks
- $117/day + $10/day completion bonus
- Potential for additional compensation with Food Safety Manager certification and/or prior camp leadership experience.
- Includes room, board, and 3 meals daily
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in food service, kitchen operations, or hospitality
- Strong organization and leadership skills
- Ability to manage a team and maintain a clean, safe kitchen
- Must be 18+
- Food Safety Manager certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Additional Requirements
- Pass background check
- Obtain Food Handler’s Permit and First Aid/CPR certification
- Complete Youth Protection Training
