About the Role:
As the Social Media Manager Intern, you will take the lead in managing and growing the Healthy Homes program’s online presence. This unpaid internship offers the opportunity to develop real-world skills in social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement while making a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Content Creation: Design and schedule posts, reels, and stories for Instagram and other platforms to promote the Healthy Homes program.
• Community Engagement: Interact with followers by responding to comments and messages, and engage with local organizations and audiences.
• Campaign Support: Collaborate with the Healthy Homes team to execute social media campaigns and promote events like the Healthy Homes Expo.
• Analytics Tracking: Monitor and report on social media metrics to optimize engagement and reach.
• Storytelling: Share success stories, program updates, and educational content to inspire and inform the community.

What We’re Looking For:

• A creative, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who can work independently.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
• Experience managing social media accounts for an organization or project.
• Knowledge of healthy living or housing initiatives.
About Healthy Homes:
The Healthy Homes program provides free home assessments and up to $15,000 in repairs to ensure families in Bergen County live in safe, healthy environments. Your work as a Social Media Manager Intern will directly support our outreach and community engagement efforts.
