Stefen is a Staff Attorney on the Prisoner Rights Project at the Legal Aid Society. Based out of New York City, Stefan represents prisoners in the organization’s class action lawsuits centered around inhumane conditions in the jails. Stefen writes letters on behalf of his clients, covering topics ranging from lack of access to food and water, too much time spent in solitary confinement, and mistreatment of prisoners with physical or mental disabilities.
